Four Texas Tech Golfers Named WGCA All-American Scholars

LUBBOCK, TX — Texas Tech women's golf had four student-athletes named to the 2024-25 Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team, the organization announced Monday.

Sophomore Maja Ambroziak, seniors Libby Fleming and Kylee Loewe, and junior Danique Stokmans were each honored for their academic achievements. Ambroziak and Loewe earned the recognition for a second consecutive year, while Fleming returned to the list after first being selected during the 2022-23 season.

Texas Tech has now had at least three student-athletes selected to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team every season since 2016.

The WGCA’s All-American Scholar criteria are among the most rigorous in college athletics. Honorees must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, be an amateur on the team roster through the season’s end, and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds.

Founded in 1983, the Women’s Golf Coaches Association is a non-profit organization with over 750 members that promotes and supports collegiate women’s golf, both athletically and academically.
