City of Lubbock Launches Online Mosquito Spraying Request System

LUBBOCK, TX — The City of Lubbock's Vector Control Department is accepting online requests for neighborhood mosquito spraying service.

Replacing the mosquito hotline, citizens can fill out online service requests for the type of mosquito treatment they need: adult mosquitoes, mosquito larvae breeding area, and advance request for a public event.

Residents can submit requests for three types of mosquito treatments: spraying for adult mosquitoes, treating mosquito larvae breeding areas, and advance spraying for public events.

The new system is designed to help Vector Control gather more accurate data and improve service response across neighborhoods.

Requests can be submitted at mylubbock.us/vector-control.

Citizens without internet access can visit any Lubbock Public Library branch to use a computer or call 311 for assistance in submitting a request.

For additional information, residents can email [email protected].
