Semi Rolls South of Tahoka

TAHOKA, TX — A truck-tractor pulling a semi trailer overturned on US 87 just south of Tahoka this evening. As of 11 p.m., all northbound lanes are closed and likely one lane was open headed south towards Big Spring and San Angelo.

It appeared that livestock was in the trailer. 

DPS, sheriff's deputies, and a volunteer fire department were tending teh scene as northbound traffic was diverted onto a dirt road to avoid the crash scene.

There were at least two ambulances witnessed at the scene. Tahoka is located halfway between Lubbock and Lamesa.
