DALLAS, TX — Two men in Dallas on Monday afternoon, December 9, died after their McLaren sports car crashed and split in half on the 8500 block of Abrams Road in Lake Highlands.
Family members confirmed that Cristobal Flores Espino, the owner of the McLaren, and his passenger, 31-year-old Robert Rocha, were killed in the crash.
The crash also involved a woman driving a Toyota, who was hit in the crash and taken to the hospital. Reports say she expected to survive.
Dallas Police reported that the McLaren was not stolen or being tailed by police. An off-duty officer in the area initially reported the incident. It’s unclear if the officer witnessed the crash or what led to it.
