LUBBOCK, TX — A 22-year-old man is in custody and facing multiple charges after a brief police pursuit near 19th Street and University Avenue on Wednesday night, January 22, resulted in a crash.

According to LPD, the pursuit began around 6:51 p.m. when an officer witnessed a car change lanes unsafely, nearly hitting the officer's patrol car in the 1500 block of University Avenue.
