Country Music Star Accused in Serious Assault Case

LOS ANGELES, CA — Country music star Garth Brooks has been accused of sexual assault and battery in a lawsuit filed in California on Thursday, according to reports.

The lawsuit claims that Brooks raped a woman, identified only as “Jane Roe,” who worked as his hairstylist and makeup artist in 2019.

Roe alleges that the incident occurred during a work trip when Brooks booked only one hotel room for the two of them, leaving her “shocked” to discover she did not have her accommodation.

In addition to the sexual assault allegations, the lawsuit accuses Brooks of repeatedly exposing his genitals and buttocks, discussing sexual topics and fantasies with Roe, frequently changing his clothing in her presence, and sending sexually explicit text messages.

While Brooks has previously denied similar claims, he had not publicly responded to this new lawsuit as of Thursday afternoon.

Roe began providing hair and makeup services for Brooks in 2017, having initially been hired to work with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, in 1999.
