IRVING, TX – The Big 12 Conference announced Tuesday that three-time Grammy Award-winning artist NE-YO will headline the halftime show at the 2024 Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship Game, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
NE-YO will perform alongside the marching bands of the participating teams, creating a unique blend of music, culture, and college football tradition.
Big 12 Conference Commissioner Brett Yormack made the announcement on Wednesday.
"We are thrilled to welcome NE-YO as the 2024 Football Championship halftime performer. The Big 12 continues to infuse culture and entertainment into our league's biggest moments, balancing it with the traditions that make college athletics so special. With both school bands joining the performance, the annual halftime show will continue to blend the old with the new."
NE-YO also shared his enthusiasm:

NE-YO is renowned for a career spanning over two decades, boasting three Grammy Awards, two Billboard 200 No. 1 albums, and over 23 billion streams of his music catalog. Among his iconic tracks are "So Sick," "Sexy Love," "Because of You," and "Miss Independent." Earlier this year, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified his hit collaboration "Give Me Everything" as a diamond single, signifying over 10 million units sold.
The 2024 Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Dec. 7, airing live on ABC. Tickets for the event are available exclusively through SeatGeek.
