Lubbock to See Hotter Temperatures This Weekend

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Warmer temperatures return to the Lubbock area into the weekend.

The National Weather Service reports low clouds across the South Plains and will clear this morning with sunny skies and warm temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s. Breezy south winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph are also possible today.

Near normal temperatures are forecasted tonight in the lower to mid-60s. Breezy south-southeast winds of 10 to 20 mph, especially along the Caprock before diminishing towards the early morning hours tomorrow.

Hot temperatures return this weekend with near-record highs possible across the area tomorrow and Saturday.
