Levelland's Lobo Lake Sled Hill Open this Weekend

 

LEVELLAND, TX – The City of Levelland Parks Department announced on Wednesday the opening of the Lobo Lake Sled Hill on Friday, January 10, at 1 p.m. The sled hill, doubled in length to 160 feet this season, will be open throughout the weekend with reconfigured lanes to accommodate the expanded size.

Operational Hours:

  • Friday, January 10: 1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, January 11: 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, January 12: 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Visitors are advised to prepare for muddy and wet conditions and to review the following guidelines:

  • No outside sleds are permitted during operating hours.
  • Sleds are provided by the city on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • During peak times, wait times for sleds may occur.

Snow Report:
The Parks Department has successfully made snow over the past two nights to create the longer sled hill and ensure a fun experience for all attendees.
