Another Serious Motorcycle Crash in Lubbock

 

LUBBOCK, TX  – The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating a collision that left a motorcyclist seriously injured on Sunday afternoon in West Lubbock.

Officers responded to the scene at 19th Street and Kewanee Avenue at 12:07 p.m. on September 15 following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle.

According to the initial investigation, 30-year-old Wyoming Fowler was riding a motorcycle eastbound in the 6300 block of 19th Street when it collided with the rear of a passenger car driven by 56-year-old Kimberley Lindley, who was also traveling east.

Fowler, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Medical Center by EMS. Lindley was not reported to be injured in the accident.

The investigation into the cause of the crash remains ongoing.
