24-Year-Old Man Identified in Fatal W. Lubbock Crash

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Police Department responded to a crash early Saturday at 2:04 a.m. near the intersection of West Loop 289 and 50th Street. According to a press release, the Major Crash Unit investigated the collision, which tragically resulted in the death of one individual.

The investigation revealed that a black passenger car, driven by 24-year-old Noah Jaramillo, was traveling north in the 5000 block of the West Loop 289 access road. Jaramillo's vehicle continued through the 50th Street intersection before colliding with a pole on the north side of the intersection.

Jaramillo was transported to Covenant Medical Center by EMS, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
