IMPERIAL, TX – Texas DPS has confirmed three fatalities in a two-vehicle crash on FM 1053, a mile south of SH 329 near Imperial, on Wednesday evening.
The crash reportedly involved three Buena Vista ISD students, prompting the district to close schools for the remainder of the week.
The district announced the closures in a social media post, adding that counselors will be available on campus to support grieving students and staff.
