Early Morning Crash Sends One to Hospital in North Lubbock

 

LUBBOCK, TX — The Lubbock Police Department is investigating a pedestrian crash in the 100 block of North Avenue U on December 10th.

Officers responded to the scene at 7:09 a.m. after reports of a collision with injuries involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

Southbound traffic on North Avenue U was closed at Auburn Street, and northbound traffic was closed at Baylor Street while authorities worked on the scene. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.

All lanes have since reopened, and the investigation is ongoing.
