Helicopter Crash at Lea County Airport, No Injuries Reported

 

HOBBS, NM—New Mexico State Police are investigating a helicopter crash on Tuesday, March 25, at Lea County Regional Airport, near Hobbs.

The privately owned helicopter went down on the ramp area near the hangars. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The crash did not impact any runways, and there have been no disruptions to flight operations. According to the Lea County Sheriff's Office, the helicopter involved was not a medevac aircraft.

The investigation is still ongoing.
