Sheriff Asks for Help Solving Murder Case of a Teen Boy

 

LUBBOCK, TX — Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit asked for help identifying two suspects in the photo below.

According to the Lubbock County Sheriff, law enforcement responded to the 9200 block of US 87 Frontage Road in southeast Lubbock after receiving reports of gunshots at 3:01 a.m. on August 25.

Sheriff's deputies believed several people were present at the location when the gunfire happened.

Subsequently, deputies found a 17-year-old boy dead of gunshot wounds. Deputies identified him as Dalequavion Barnard York. Five more victims of gunshot wounds were there as well, though no injuries were life-threatening.
