AUSTIN, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Brandon Hartfield to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List and Salvador Saucedo Jr. to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders List, officials announced Monday.
Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of either fugitive. Authorities guarantee all tips will remain anonymous.
Brandon Troy Hartfield, 37, of San Antonio, has been wanted in Bexar County since August 2024 for sexual assault of a child and a parole violation. His criminal record includes past convictions for aggravated robbery and burglary of a habitation.
Hartfield is described as 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 235 pounds. He has tattoos on his chest and both arms. More information here.
Salvador Saucedo Jr., 37, a convicted sex offender from Bryan, has been wanted in Gonzales County since March 2024 for indecency with a child by sexual contact. In May 2024, College Station police also issued a warrant for his arrest on a harassment charge.
On Jan. 23, 2025, Saucedo was arrested in Bellville but escaped custody. The following day, Waller County authorities issued multiple warrants for his arrest, including escape while arrested, assault on a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, failure to identify as a fugitive and resisting arrest. On Jan. 27, Brazos County issued another warrant for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
Saucedo, who was convicted in August 2022 of indecency with an 11-year-old girl, was sentenced to 10 years of probation.
He is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall, and weighing approximately 190 pounds, with tattoos on his face, neck, chest, both arms, and both legs. More information here.
Texas Crime Stoppers, funded by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, offers cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of individuals on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Sex Offenders or Criminal Illegal Immigrants Lists.
So far in 2025, DPS and law enforcement agencies have arrested seven fugitives from the Most Wanted lists, including two sex offenders and two criminal illegal immigrants. A total of $10,000 in rewards has been paid for tips leading to those arrests.
To submit a tip, individuals can:
- Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
- Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive’s profile and clicking the link under their photo.
- Submit a tip via Facebook by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link under the “About” section.
All tips remain anonymous, and tipsters will receive a tracking number instead of providing their name.
DPS investigators work with local law enforcement to determine fugitives included on the Most Wanted lists. Current lists, including photos, are available on the DPS website.
Authorities warn the public not to approach these fugitives, as they are considered armed and dangerous.
