Shots Fired and Car Break-Ins Lead to Foot Chase in Ralls

 

CROSBY COUNTY, TX – Crosby County Deputies responded to a report of a reckless driver, and shots fired early Tuesday morning near the Stripes Convenience Store in Ralls at the 900 block of US-82.

According to a social media post, at approximately 2:00 a.m. on March 4, deputies spotted the suspect from a distance as he fled north into the city.

While trying to get away, the suspect is believed to have broken into or tried to break into several vehicles around the area.

An off-duty Floyd County Deputy later spotted the suspect, which led to a brief foot chase. Crosby County Deputies were able to catch him shortly after.

The suspect has not been named or described by authorities at this time.

Crosby County officials say that if any vehicles were broken into early Tuesday morning, they should contact the Sheriff’s Department at 806-675-7301.
