LUBBOCK, TX – The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be making their way to Lubbock from September 24 to 28, according to a recent press release from Budweiser. This visit promises a series of exciting public appearances showcasing these legendary horses.
During their time in Lubbock, one of the Clydesdales will make special appearances at various United Supermarket locations. These events are part of Anheuser-Busch's ongoing partnership with Folds of Honor, which supports the families of fallen and disabled service members.
The schedule for the Clydesdales' supermarket appearances is as follows:
- On Wednesday, September 25, the Clydesdale will be at United Supermarket, 2703 82nd Street, at 4 p.m., and later at the United Supermarket, 11306 Slide Road, at 5:15 p.m.
- On Thursday, September 26, the horse will visit United Supermarket, 3405 50th Street, at 4 p.m., and then move to United Supermarket, 4425 19th Street, at 5:15 p.m.
In addition to the supermarket stops the full eight-horse hitch will be featured hitched to the iconic red beer wagon at Standard Sales, 408 East Hunter Street, on Friday, September 27. On Saturday, September 28, the Clydesdales will appear at the Green Space west of the Jones AT&T Stadium before the football game against Cincinnati.
The Budweiser Clydesdales are celebrated as an American icon and one of the world’s most recognizable symbols, reflecting a long tradition of excellence and community spirit.
