DALLAS, TX — An overturned 18-wheeler caused a complete shutdown of all lanes on I-35E just north of I-635 near Dallas early this morning. The incident occurred around 3 a.m. Sunday when a semi-truck, loaded with 24,000 pounds of Amazon packages, flipped onto its side due to flash flooding, according to Dallas police reports.
As crews work to clear the highway, all lanes remain closed. Traffic reports noted that the clean-up operation is complex, involving the removal of the trailer's contents, detaching the rig from the trailer, and clearing a sedan that was also involved in the crash.
