AUSTIN, TX — Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper Kyle Bradley was awarded the distinguished “Be the One” Award at the North American Human Trafficking Conference, held Oct. 23-25 in Las Vegas. The annual award, named in honor of survivor and anti-human trafficking leader Meghan Connors, is presented to law enforcement officers demonstrating outstanding dedication to combating human trafficking.
Trooper Bradley’s achievement follows his completion of an intensive training program at the Human Trafficking Training Center in Missouri last year, where he developed skills in identifying victims and apprehending traffickers. Since then, he has identified over 20 victims and arrested multiple traffickers through his diligent work on routine patrols. His compassion-driven approach and commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals have made a significant impact in his field.
Beyond his fieldwork, Trooper Bradley has emerged as a mentor, motivating his fellow troopers to seek specialized training to better recognize and address human trafficking. His efforts are helping build a stronger DPS team capable of conducting thorough investigations and bringing more traffickers to justice.
The North American Human Trafficking Conference, hosted by the Human Trafficking Training Center and LETAC, gathers law enforcement, advocates, and experts to advance collaborative efforts in combating human trafficking.
