Lubbock Police Investigate Missing Person Case

 

LUBBOCK, TX – The Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit is investigating a missing person case reported on Monday evening.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, officers were notified about a missing person at 3:53 p.m. on September 16th.

The individual in question, 54-year-old Elmo Minjarez, Jr., is believed to be in potential danger. Minjarez was last seen near the 1800 block of East Colgate Street on August 16th, 2024. He is described as having brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing approximately 200 pounds.

Minjarez has been entered into the national database as a Missing Person-Endangered. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking any information that could aid in locating him.

Anyone with information regarding Elmo Minjarez, Jr.'s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Lubbock Police Department.
