SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio woman was arrested Tuesday, December 10, on criminal charges for allegedly obstructing a federal fraud investigation.

Brooklynn Chandler Willy, 45, is facing charges related to her attempts to interfere with a federal probe into an investor fraud scheme in San Antonio and Lubbock.

Court documents reveal that the investigation, led by the FBI and IRS Criminal Investigation, is focused on a fraudulent investment scheme. The indictment accuses Willy of obstructing the investigation by producing false documents in response to a subpoena from a federal grand jury. She is also accused of making false statements during a federal interview in November 2024.

Willy is the owner of Queen B Advisors LLC, which operates under the name Texas Financial Advisory (TFA), as well as Chandler Capital Holdings. TFA provides financial services, including asset management and financial planning.

According to the indictment, in May 2021, Willy persuaded a married couple to invest $500,000 in a company, using Chandler Capital to facilitate the transaction. The couple wrote a check for the investment, believing it would be deposited into the intended business venture.

However, the indictment alleges that instead of using the funds as promised, Willy diverted the $500,000 for personal expenses, including credit card payments, payments to other investors, and transfers to a separate business she controlled.

The indictment also details Willy's actions after she received a federal grand jury subpoena. She allegedly created a false loan agreement, which she claimed had been signed by the victims. During an interview on November 19, 2024, Willy provided this false document to federal agents and made false statements about it and other aspects of the case.

Willy has been charged with obstruction of justice, making false statements, and aggravated identity theft. A federal district court judge will determine her sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other legal factors.

The FBI and IRS-CI are investigating the case, and it is ongoing.
