AUSTIN, TX – The Texas Department of Public Safety announced the recent arrests of two men from Texas’ 10 Most Wanted list. Both suspects were arrested using tips from the public and local, state, and federal agencies.
Jrdon Mykel Joe, 23, was arrested in Houston on January 28. He had been wanted since August 2024 for a murder in Harris County following a shooting in a parking lot off IH-45.
After receiving tips, DPS agents teamed up with U.S. Marshals and local law enforcement to track him down. Joe has a history of drug and violent crime arrests.
Marcos Alonzo, 47, was taken into custody on January 18 in Dallas. He had been wanted since February 2023 for failing to follow sex offender registration laws.
Alonzo was convicted in 2005 for indecency with a child and has been in trouble with the law before for not registering as a sex offender. The arrest was a joint effort by the U.S. Marshals, DPS agents, and local police.
Both arrests were made possible by tips from the Texas Crime Stoppers program. In 2025, six people from the 10 Most Wanted list were arrested, and $10,000 in rewards was paid out.
