Baby Rescued, Critical Condition After Midland Mobile Home Fire

 

MIDLAND, TX A baby girl is in critical condition after being rescued from a burning mobile home early Wednesday morning in Midland.

Around 4:36 a.m. on February 19, Midland Fire Department responded to a fire at a double-wide mobile home in the 5100 block of East County Road 71. The homeowners told firefighters that there was a child inside.

Firefighters from the E4 crew found and rescued the infant. She was taken to the hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
