LUBBOCK, TX — Lubbock ISD is hosting families today, May 20, for its spring Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration Event to help parents get a head start on the 2025–2026 school year.
According to a press release from LISD, the event will be held at the Jay Gordon Room inside the district’s Central Office at 1628 19th Street.
Doors opened at 8 a.m. and will remain open until 5 p.m. Families are encouraged to enter through Door 3.
Parents of incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students can complete enrollment, turn in required documents, and take care of eligibility appointments all in one visit.
Several community organizations are also on-site to offer information and support for early childhood development, says the release.
Lubbock ISD staff say the event will make the registration process easier and help families connect with resources before the first day of school.
