Lubbock residents should prepare for continued hot weather, with temperatures expected to soar near or above 100 degrees throughout the week.

The 15th Annual “Vamos a Pescar, Let’s Go Fishing” Event will be held on Saturday, August 3, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Buddy Holly Lake located at N. University and Cesar Chavez Drive.
